Embedding LinkedIn on your website: your questions answered

Everything you need to know about LinkedIn feed, profile and company page widgets.

General questions

How do I embed a LinkedIn feed on my website?

Create a free LinkedEmbed account, paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL, choose a widget such as the posts feed, then copy the embed code and paste it into your website. The code is a small <div> and one <script> tag, and it works on WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify, Framer, Weebly and plain HTML sites.

What is LinkedEmbed?

LinkedEmbed is a no-code tool that turns LinkedIn profiles and company pages into embeddable website widgets. You can show your latest LinkedIn posts, a profile card, a company page card, your licenses and certifications, or your projects on any website, styled to match your brand.

Can I embed a personal LinkedIn profile, not just a company page?

Yes. LinkedEmbed supports both personal LinkedIn profiles and LinkedIn company pages. Personal profiles can be shown as a profile card, a posts feed, a certifications grid or a projects grid; company pages can be shown as a company card or a posts feed.

Does LinkedIn have its own embed option?

LinkedIn lets you embed a single public post and offers a basic profile badge, but it has no built-in way to embed a live feed of posts, a company page or your certifications. A widget like LinkedEmbed fills that gap and keeps the content updated automatically.

Will my LinkedIn widget update automatically?

Yes. Posts widgets refresh automatically in the background, so new LinkedIn posts appear on your website without you touching the code. You can also click “Sync from LinkedIn” in the dashboard at any time, and every design change you save goes live instantly.

Is the LinkedIn widget mobile-friendly?

Yes. Widgets adapt to the space they are placed in, not just the screen size, so they look right in a full-width section, a sidebar or on a phone. Grids reduce their columns automatically and long text wraps cleanly.

Does embedding a LinkedIn feed slow down my website?

No, the impact is minimal. The embed script is a few kilobytes, widgets load in a lightweight iframe that does not block your page, and images are served from a cache. The widget also sizes itself to its content, so there is no layout jank or scrollbars.

Does embedding LinkedIn posts help SEO?

Embedded widgets mainly help indirectly: fresh, credible content keeps visitors on your page longer and builds trust, which supports conversions. Because the widget loads in an iframe, search engines generally attribute the post text to LinkedEmbed's embed page rather than your page, so keep your own page copy keyword-rich.

Is LinkedEmbed free?

Yes, there is a free plan with one widget and no credit card required. Paid plans start at $12.99 per month (Pro) and $29.99 per month (Essentials) for more widgets, all widget types, higher view limits and branding removal.

Can I customize the widget to match my brand?

Yes. You can choose light or dark theme, any accent color, fonts, corner radius, shadows, borders, width and alignment, and toggle every section on or off, such as skills, experience, dates or engagement counts. A live preview shows changes before you publish.

Do I need a LinkedIn API key or developer account?

No. You only paste the public URL of a LinkedIn profile or company page. LinkedEmbed handles fetching, formatting and caching the content, so there is no API key, LinkedIn app or developer setup required.

Can I track clicks on my LinkedIn widget?

Yes. The analytics dashboard shows how many times each widget was seen and how many visitors clicked through to your LinkedIn profile, posts or website, with daily charts and comparisons to the previous period.

Is LinkedEmbed affiliated with LinkedIn?

No. LinkedEmbed is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.

Pricing & plans

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The Free plan doesn't require a credit card. You can upgrade to Pro or Essentials whenever you need more widgets or features.

What counts as a widget view?

A view is counted when an embedded widget actually appears on a visitor's screen. Previews from your own dashboard are not counted.

Can I change or cancel my plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, and your widgets keep working on the Free plan limits after a downgrade.

What does “Powered by” branding mean?

Free widgets show a small “Powered by” link under the widget. Pro and Essentials let you remove it for a fully white-label look.
