Who we are

LinkedEmbed provides widgets that display public LinkedIn profile and company page information on websites. This policy explains what information we handle and why.

Information about account holders

  • Account details: your name, email address and sign-in method (email/password or Google).
  • Content you create: imported LinkedIn sources, widgets and their settings.
  • A secure session cookie that keeps you signed in to the dashboard.

LinkedIn information

When you import a LinkedIn profile or company page, we retrieve publicly available information about it (such as name, headline, posts and images) to display in your widgets, and we store copies of images so widgets keep working. Only import profiles and pages you have the right to display.

Visitors of websites that embed our widgets

Widgets don't use cookies or fingerprinting to track visitors. We count widget views and link clicks as aggregated daily totals per widget to provide analytics, and our servers process standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the widget securely.

How we use information

  • To provide, secure and improve the service.
  • To communicate with you about your account.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, authentication and data storage (including Google Firebase) and for retrieving public LinkedIn data. They process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

Your rights

You can access, update or delete your account data at any time, or contact us to exercise your privacy rights. Deleting a widget stops it from displaying anywhere it was embedded.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
