How to add a LinkedIn feed to Hostinger Website Builder

Hostinger Website Builder has an Embed code element for third-party widgets. Drag it onto the page, click Enter code, paste the LinkedIn widget code and update your website.

Step-by-step: add a LinkedIn widget to Hostinger Website Builder

  1. 1

    Create your LinkedIn widget

Sign up for free, click New widget, choose Person or Company, and paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL.

  2. 2

Customize and copy the embed code

Pick a widget (posts feed, profile card, company page, jobs, recommendations, certifications or projects), match your brand, then open the Integration tab and copy the code.

  3. 3

Drag in the Embed code element

Open the Add elements panel on the left of the builder and drag the Embed code element to where the widget should appear.

  4. 4

    Paste the code

Click the element, choose Enter code, paste the embed code and click Embed code.

  5. 5

    Resize and update the website

Use the element's resize option so the whole widget fits, then update your website so the change goes live.

Your embed code looks like this

Copy the exact code, with your widget ID, from the Integration tab in the LinkedInEmbed dashboard.

<div class="linkedembed-widget" data-widget-id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"></div>
<script src="https://www.linkedinembed.com/embed.js" async></script>

Tips for Hostinger Website Builder

  • The Embed code element places code in the page body, which is where the widget belongs. You don't need Hostinger's separate setting for <head> code.
  • If the widget looks cut off, resize the element taller, or use the iframe snippet with a height that fits.
  • Hostinger recommends HTTPS links without spaces in embed code. The LinkedInEmbed code already uses an HTTPS script URL.
  • Updated the site but the widget isn't showing? Clear your browser cache, as Hostinger suggests, and reload the live page.

LinkedIn on Hostinger Website Builder: FAQ

Do I need to add the LinkedIn code to the <head> on Hostinger?

No. Paste the whole embed code into an Embed code element on the page. It goes into the page body, which is where the widget is displayed.

Will I get the “embed code is too large” error?

Unlikely. Hostinger says that error usually comes from images embedded as inline data. The LinkedInEmbed code is only a placeholder and one script tag.

Which LinkedIn widget will you add to Hostinger Website Builder?

Every widget uses the same embed code, so the steps above work for all of them.
