How to add a LinkedIn feed to a Bubble app
Bubble's HTML element renders custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript on a page. Drop an HTML element where the widget should appear, paste the LinkedIn widget code and preview your app.
Step-by-step: add a LinkedIn widget to Bubble
- 1
Create your LinkedIn widget
Sign up for free, click New widget, choose Person or Company, and paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL.
- 2
Customize and copy the embed code
Pick a widget (posts feed, profile card, company page, jobs, recommendations, certifications or projects), match your brand, then open the Integration tab and copy the code.
- 3
Add an HTML element
In the Bubble editor's Design tab, drag the HTML element (one of the visual elements) onto your page or into a group.
- 4
Paste the code and set the size
In the element's properties, paste the embed code into the HTML field. Set the height to Fit where your layout allows it, or give it a fixed height that fits the widget.
- 5
Preview in run mode
Click Preview. Bubble only runs script tags in run mode, not in the editor, so the widget appears in the preview and on your live app.
Your embed code looks like this
Copy the exact code, with your widget ID, from the Integration tab in the LinkedInEmbed dashboard.
<div class="linkedembed-widget" data-widget-id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"></div>
<script src="https://www.linkedinembed.com/embed.js" async></script>Tips for Bubble
- Leave Display as iFrame unchecked for the script snippet. If you turn it on, Bubble runs the HTML as a separate page inside a frame, so give the element a fixed height or use the iframe snippet.
- Use Insert dynamic data in the HTML field to fill data-widget-id from your database, for example to show each member's own LinkedIn widget on their profile page.
- The widget adapts to the element's width, so set the width to Fill or a percentage to keep it responsive.

LinkedIn on Bubble: FAQ
Why don't I see the widget in the Bubble editor?
Bubble only runs script tags in run mode. Click Preview, or open your live app, to see the widget.
Can each user in my Bubble app show their own LinkedIn widget?
Yes, if you store each widget ID in your database and insert it into the HTML field with Insert dynamic data. Each widget still needs to be created in a LinkedInEmbed account first.
Which LinkedIn widget will you add to Bubble?
Every widget uses the same embed code, so the steps above work for all of them.
