How to embed specific LinkedIn posts on your website
Quick answer
To show only certain LinkedIn posts on your website, either embed each post with LinkedIn's free “Embed this post” option, or use a posts widget in Selected posts mode: pick up to 4 posts, arrange them in a grid, and they stay in sync with LinkedIn. Selected posts is available on LinkedEmbed's paid plans.
Two ways to feature specific posts
| LinkedIn “Embed this post” | LinkedEmbed Selected posts | |
|---|---|---|
| Posts | One embed code per post | Up to 4 posts in one widget |
| Layout | Separate fixed-size boxes | One grid, 1–4 cards per row |
| Edits on LinkedIn | Shown when LinkedIn updates the embed | Synced on your plan's refresh schedule |
| Design | LinkedIn's design | Your colors, fonts and theme |
| Cost | Free | Pro or Essentials plan |
Only need one post? LinkedIn's native embed is free and enough: see how to embed a single LinkedIn post.
How to embed hand-picked posts with LinkedEmbed
- 1
Create a posts widget
In the dashboard, click New widget, choose your LinkedIn profile or company page, then pick Posts.
- 2
Choose “Selected posts”
Under “Which posts?”, choose Selected posts instead of Live feed.
- 3
Pick up to 4 posts
Tick the posts you want from your latest posts. They appear in the order you pick them, and you can reorder them later.
- 4
Style and embed
Set cards per row, text length, theme and colors, save, then paste the embed code into your website. See the builder guides.
What happens when you edit or delete a post
- Picked posts are re-fetched from LinkedIn on your plan's schedule: every 24 hours on Pro, every 30 minutes on Essentials.
- Edits to the text, images and engagement counts show up after the next refresh.
- A post you delete or make private on LinkedIn disappears from the widget.
- Picked posts stay even after newer posts push them out of your latest posts.
When a live feed is the better choice
If you post often and want your website to always show what's new, a live feed needs no maintenance: new posts appear automatically. Use Selected posts for evergreen highlights, such as a launch announcement, a case study or press coverage. See the LinkedIn feed widget.
