How to Embed a LinkedIn Feed on WordPress (No Plugin)

You can add a LinkedIn feed to WordPress without installing a plugin. Paste the embed code into a Custom HTML block in the block editor, or an HTML widget in Elementor, and publish.

Step-by-step: add a LinkedIn widget to WordPress

  1. 1

    Create your LinkedIn widget

Sign up for free, click New widget, choose Person or Company, and paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL.

  2. 2

Customize and copy the embed code

Pick a widget (posts feed, profile card, company page, certifications or projects), match your brand, then open the Integration tab and copy the code.

  3. 3

    Add a Custom HTML block

In the WordPress block editor, open the page or post, click the + inserter, search for “Custom HTML” and add the block where the widget should appear. In Elementor, drag in the HTML widget instead.

  4. 4

    Paste the code and publish

Paste the embed code into the block, click Preview to check it, then Update or Publish. The widget appears and resizes itself automatically.

Your embed code looks like this

Copy the exact code, with your widget ID, from the Integration tab in the LinkedEmbed dashboard.

<div class="linkedembed-widget" data-widget-id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"></div>
<script src="https://www.linkedinembed.com/embed.js" async></script>

Tips for WordPress

  • To show the widget on every page, add a Custom HTML block to a footer or sidebar widget area.
  • Some hosted WordPress.com plans strip script tags. If the widget doesn't appear, use the iframe snippet from the Integration tab instead.
  • Caching plugins won't affect the widget, because its content loads separately and stays fresh.
