Free LinkedIn Embed Code Generator

Paste a public LinkedIn post link or LinkedIn's own embed code. Set the width, height and alignment, check the live preview on desktop and mobile, then copy clean HTML for your website.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Copy the post link

On LinkedIn, open the post, click the three dots (…) and choose Copy link to post. You can also paste the code from Embed this post.

  2. 2

    Paste it into the generator

The tool reads the post ID and checks that LinkedIn allows the post to be embedded.

  3. 3

    Set the size

Choose a maximum width, a height and an alignment. LinkedIn embeds don't resize to fit their content, so adjust the height until the whole post shows.

  4. 4

    Copy the code

Paste the HTML into an HTML or embed block in WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace or any website.

Examples

  • Post link

    https://www.linkedin.com/posts/yourname_product-launch-activity-7123456789012345678-AbCd

  • Post URL from the feed

    https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7123456789012345678/

  • LinkedIn's embed code

    <iframe src="https://www.linkedin.com/embed/feed/update/urn:li:share:7123456789012345678" height="560" width="504" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Embedded post"></iframe>

Limitations

  • Only posts whose visibility is set to Anyone (public) can be embedded.
  • LinkedIn doesn't support embedding multi-photo posts or reposts with commentary.
  • Embeds don't resize to fit their content: set a height that fits the post, or visitors scroll inside the frame.
  • Short links (lnkd.in), profile URLs, company pages and LinkedIn articles (/pulse/) aren't post links. Open the post itself and copy its link.
  • If the author deletes the post or makes it private, the embed stops showing it.
  • Each embed shows one post. To show your latest posts automatically, use a LinkedIn feed widget instead.

LinkedIn Embed Code Generator FAQ

Is this LinkedIn embed code generator free?

Yes. It's free with no account or signup. The code it creates uses LinkedIn's own embed, so nothing on your site depends on us.

Why does my LinkedIn post not embed?

The post is probably not public, has been deleted, or is a type LinkedIn can't embed, such as a multi-photo post or a repost with commentary. Check that the post's visibility is set to Anyone, or embed a different post.

Can I make the LinkedIn embed responsive?

The width can be responsive: the generated code fills its container up to the maximum width you choose. The height is fixed, because LinkedIn's embed doesn't report its content height to your page. Pick a height that fits the post on mobile too.

Can I embed a LinkedIn post from a company page?

Yes. Public posts from company pages work the same way as posts from personal profiles.

Do I need to log in to LinkedIn?

No. The generator only needs the post link. It never asks for your LinkedIn password or account access.
