How to add a LinkedIn feed to GoDaddy Websites + Marketing
GoDaddy's website builder adds custom code through the HTML section. Add an HTML section to the page, paste the LinkedIn widget code into the Custom Code field and publish.
Step-by-step: add a LinkedIn widget to GoDaddy Websites + Marketing
- 1
Create your LinkedIn widget
Sign up for free, click New widget, choose Person or Company, and paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL.
- 2
Customize and copy the embed code
Pick a widget (posts feed, profile card, company page, jobs, recommendations, certifications or projects), match your brand, then open the Integration tab and copy the code.
- 3
Open your site in the editor
On your GoDaddy product page, expand Websites + Marketing, select Manage next to your site and open the page where the widget should appear.
- 4
Add an HTML section
Add a section, search for HTML and select Add. Paste the embed code into the Custom Code field.
- 5
Set the height and publish
Leave Forced Height blank for automatic height, or enter a pixel value if the widget is cut off. Check it with Preview, then publish your site.
Your embed code looks like this
Copy the exact code, with your widget ID, from the Integration tab in the LinkedInEmbed dashboard.
<div class="linkedembed-widget" data-widget-id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"></div>
<script src="https://www.linkedinembed.com/embed.js" async></script>Tips for GoDaddy Websites + Marketing
- GoDaddy places HTML section content inside an iframe. If the widget is cut off, enter a Forced Height tall enough for it, or use the iframe snippet with a matching height.
- A Forced Height of 0 pixels is the same as deleting the section, so always use a positive value.
- GoDaddy notes that embedded content may not respond to screen size, because it sits in an iframe. Preview the page on mobile and adjust the height if needed.
- Edits save automatically in the editor, but visitors only see them after you publish.
- GoDaddy can explain how the HTML section works but doesn't troubleshoot third-party code. For widget issues, see LinkedIn feed not showing? Fixes.

LinkedIn on GoDaddy Websites + Marketing: FAQ
Why is the LinkedIn widget cut off on my GoDaddy site?
The HTML section shows its content in an iframe. Set Forced Height to a pixel value tall enough for the widget, or paste the iframe snippet and give it the same height.
Should I add the code in GoDaddy's site Settings instead?
No. Site Settings handle things like Google Analytics and tracking pixels. A visible widget belongs in an HTML section on the page where it should appear.
Which LinkedIn widget will you add to GoDaddy Websites + Marketing?
Every widget uses the same embed code, so the steps above work for all of them.
