How to add a LinkedIn feed to Carrd
Carrd adds custom code through its Embed element. Add an Embed element, set Type to Code, paste the LinkedIn widget code with the Inline style, and publish. Embeds need the Pro Standard plan or higher.
Step-by-step: add a LinkedIn widget to Carrd
- 1
Create your LinkedIn widget
Sign up for free, click New widget, choose Person or Company, and paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL.
- 2
Customize and copy the embed code
Pick a widget (posts feed, profile card, company page, jobs, recommendations, certifications or projects), match your brand, then open the Integration tab and copy the code.
- 3
Add an Embed element
In the Carrd builder, click Add Element, choose Embed and move the element to where the widget should appear.
- 4
Set it up as inline code
Set Type to Code, paste the embed code into the Code field and set Style to Inline, so the widget renders exactly where the element sits. Add a Label if you want to find it easily later.
- 5
Publish and check
Embeds output nothing inside the Carrd builder, so publish the site and open it to see the widget.
Your embed code looks like this
Copy the exact code, with your widget ID, from the Integration tab in the LinkedInEmbed dashboard.
<div class="linkedembed-widget" data-widget-id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"></div>
<script src="https://www.linkedinembed.com/embed.js" async></script>Tips for Carrd
- The Embed element requires Pro Standard or higher. Upgrade first, or the element won't be available.
- Use the Inline style. Hidden places code in the head or at the top or end of the body, which suits tracking scripts, not a widget that should appear in your layout.
- On a one-page Carrd site, a profile card or posts feed below your intro gives visitors proof of your work without leaving the page.
