How to add a LinkedIn feed to an Odoo website

Odoo Website has an Embed code building block for third-party content. Drop it onto the page, click Edit in the Customize tab, replace the placeholder with the LinkedIn widget code and save.

Step-by-step: add a LinkedIn widget to Odoo Website

    Create your LinkedIn widget

    Sign up for free, click New widget, choose Person or Company, and paste your LinkedIn profile or company page URL.

    Customize and copy the embed code

    Pick a widget (posts feed, profile card, company page, jobs, recommendations, certifications or projects), match your brand, then open the Integration tab and copy the code.

    Add the Embed code block

    Open the page on your website and click Edit. Find the Embed code block (you can search for it with the search bar in the Insert a block popup) and drag it to where the widget should appear.

    Replace the placeholder code

    Click the block, go to the Customize tab and click Edit. Replace the placeholder code with the embed code.

    Save the page

    Save your changes and check the page outside edit mode.

Tips for Odoo Website

  • Odoo warns against pasting code you don't understand. The LinkedInEmbed code is just a placeholder <div> and one script from linkedinembed.com.
  • These steps follow the Odoo 18 documentation. Block names and menus can differ in older Odoo versions.
  • If the script version doesn't render, paste the iframe snippet into the same block instead.
  • Use Odoo's custom building block feature to save the configured block and reuse it on other pages.
