Embedding LinkedIn on a websiteBy the LinkedInEmbed team · Updated
How do I add LinkedIn to my website?
Short answer
Pick the option that matches your goal: a LinkedIn icon or link to send visitors to your profile or page, LinkedIn's “Embed this post” for one public post, the Follow Company plugin for a follow button, or a widget for content that stays current, such as your latest posts, a profile card or open jobs.

How to do each one
- Icon or link: how to add a LinkedIn icon or follow button.
- One post: embed a single LinkedIn post, or several hand-picked ones with embed specific LinkedIn posts.
- A live feed: how to embed a LinkedIn feed on any website.
- Your website builder: step-by-step pages for WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify and plain HTML.
Where LinkedIn content works best
Everything you show must be public on LinkedIn: LinkedIn's embed only covers posts shared with Anyone, and widgets only show publicly available information.
- Homepage: a short posts feed shows you're active and gives visitors a reason to follow.
- About page: a profile or company card adds faces, roles and credibility.
- Services or sales pages: recommendations as testimonials, near your call to action.
- Careers page: a jobs list and company posts. See the careers page use case.
- Footer: an [in] icon link on every page.
Before you start
- Check that your profile is public, or that the posts you want are shared with Anyone. Visitors who aren't signed in can only see public content. See how to make posts public.
- Copy the right address: your profile URL or your company page URL.
- Find out whether your website builder allows custom scripts. If it doesn't, widgets have an iframe version. See script or iframe?
- Decide what the section should achieve, such as more followers, more trust or more applications, and pick the simplest option that does that job.
