LinkedInEmbed widgetsBy the LinkedInEmbed team · Updated
Can I put the same LinkedIn widget on several pages or websites?
Short answer
Yes. A LinkedInEmbed widget's code can be pasted on as many pages and websites as you like, and every copy shows the same content and design. Changes you save in the dashboard apply everywhere at once. If you want different designs or post counts on different pages, create separate widgets from the same LinkedIn source.
How it works
The embed code identifies the widget by its ID, so every copy loads the same widget. There's no per-domain setup, and copies on different sites refresh from LinkedIn on the same schedule. Showing a widget in more places doesn't use up extra widgets or LinkedIn sources.
- Site-wide: paste the code once into a shared template, such as a footer, sidebar or reusable section, to show it on every page.
- Several sites: paste the same code on your main site, blog and landing pages.
- Single-page apps: after client-side navigation, call window.LinkedEmbed?.mount() so new placeholders load. See the React / Next.js guide.
When to create separate widgets
Several widgets from one profile or company page count as one LinkedIn source. Free includes 1 widget, Pro 3 and Essentials 5. See pricing. It's fine to start with one widget everywhere and split it later if different pages need different layouts.
| You want… | Use |
|---|---|
| The same look everywhere | One widget, pasted in each place |
| A 3-post row on the homepage and a 12-post grid on a news page | Two widgets from the same source |
| A light version and a dark version | Two widgets from the same source |
| Different people or companies | One widget per LinkedIn source |
Agencies and multiple clients
If you build sites for clients, each client's profile or company page is a separate source, and each widget can go on that client's site. Essentials covers 5 sources and 5 widgets. More in the agencies use case.

Good to know
- Pasting the full snippet twice on one page is harmless: the loader doesn't load itself again and just mounts any new widgets.
- Because every copy is the same widget, a design change shows everywhere. After a big change, such as going from three cards per row to one, check the pages where it appears.
- To remove the widget from one page or site, delete the code there; the other copies keep working.
- Using the iframe snippet in some places? Each iframe has its own height, so adjust it per placement.
